Genesis Fluid Solutions is a water technology that specializes in high speed water/solids separation. As holders of international patents and patents pending, Genesis has been asked to collaborate with technology groups to apply this Intellectual Property to the Oil and Gas (Exploration) industry.

Of special interest is "flow-back" fluids from hydraulic fracturing in horizontal drilling operations. While Genesis has been asked to focus on dewatering high-speed dredging operations, the technology has interesting cross-over potential given that the process operates in thousands of gallons per minute in the most environmentally sensitive waterways in the country (Monterey Bay, Florida Everglades, Long Beach, Ca.). The technology meets or exceeds all State and Federal standards for water discharge while recovering hundreds of dry tons of debris and contaminant laden sediments per hour.

Genesis has invested many years of study in the removal of clays, organics, (Suspended Solids) and Dissolved Solids (nutrients and contaminants such as Phosphorous and Nitrogen). The collaborative application of this technology to the Oil and Gas Industry offers a new business vertical in addition to the Lake, Harbor, and Reservoir contracts currently held by the company.
